Sukkat Shalom – Tabernacle of Peace

Students, faculty and members of the Administration from AJR and CMSV met on Tuesday, October 10th, 2006 – Tishrei 18, 5767 in the AJR Sukkah – outside Benedict’s Cafe.

The lunchtime symposium celebrated the common commitment of the two communities to maintaining a world in which humans can live in peace with nature.

Teaching by Dr. Ora Horn Prouser, AJR Academic Dean, Rabbi David Greenstein, AJR Rosh HaYeshivah and Rabbinic Dean, Regina Bechtle, SC – Charism Resource Director, Mary Ann Garisto, SC – Director of Ecological/Global Concerns with music by Meredith Greenberg, Lisa Segal and Irwin Huberman and other AJR students celebrated the common commitment of the two communities to maintaining a world in which humans can live in peace with nature.

The program was jointly sponsored by the Tzedek (Justice) Committee of AJR and the Campus Ministry of CMSV.
