Rabbi Justin Lewis Book Published
AJR Alumnus, Rabbi Justin Jaron Lewis just published a new book, Imagining Holiness: Classic Hasidic Tales in Modern Times. In this important new book, Rabbi Lewis, Assistant Professor of Religion at The University of Manitoba, focuses on early twentieth century Hasidic literature, and shows how much of this work both resisted modernity, and, at the same time, reflected modern literary trends.
