AJR’s Hanukkat Habayit on January 27th was a wonderful day of learning and celebration. Over 140 people attended, appreciating AJR’s new home in Yonkers, studying in several classes, and reconnecting with old friends and colleagues. As so many institutions and organizations need to contract and merge, AJR is thrilled to have moved into a larger space to serve the needs of our community. This is the time for the growth of a pluralistic seminary.   Mayor Mike Spano and City Council President Chuck Lesnick greeted the crowd, and presented a proclamation making the day AJR Day in Yonkers.
