Beth Am Shalom is looking for a Reform rabbi to start June 1, 2025 as our current rabbi of more than 27 years retires. We are a warm and welcoming Reform Jewish congregation located near the beautiful Jersey Shore. Our community is diverse, vibrant, and dedicated to Jewish values, learning, and social action. We offer a supportive environment with a strong commitment to spiritual growth, community engagement, and lifelong education. Responsibilities: Lead Shabbat and holiday services, Provide pastoral care and counseling to congregants, Officiate at life cycle events, including weddings, funerals, unveilings, b’nai mitzvah, and confirmations, Develop and lead engaging adult education programs and Torah study – approximately 1/month, Work with the religious school principal to enhance youth education, Collaborate with lay leadership on congregational initiatives & Participate in community outreach and interfaith activities.
