Rabbi
The Rabbi is responsible for the provision of spiritual support to patients and families in keeping with the patient/family’s desire and Jewish belief system. He/She functions as a member of the Interdisciplinary Group and reports to the Administrator or Designee. Qualifications: Graduate of a rabbinic ordination in a yeshiva or modern rabbinical seminary or under the guidance of an individual rabbi, or appropriate certification in hospital or pastoral ministry, Experience in working with patients/families dealing with life threatening illness and death, Speaks, writes, reads, and comprehends English & Understanding of Reform, Conservative, and Orthodox traditions in observances and laws as they relate to end-of-life care and hospice care.
