Founded over 100 years ago, the JGS Lifecare mission is to provide the highest quality care for primarily frail elders and all others who come to us for long term or Rehab care. We are proud of our tagline which says “… guided by Jewish values… serving all faiths.” We are seeking a Rabbi to become part of the JGS healthcare team and serve as our Director of Spiritual Life and multifaith chaplain to our diverse community of residents (and their families) including primarily making pastoral care visits to residents and sometimes family members, overseeing pastoral care interns and volunteers, and providing informal emotional/spiritual support for our staff at the Leavitt Jewish Nursing Home and Ruth’s House Assisted Living Facility on our Longmeadow campus.
