Temple Beth Sholom of Orange County seeks passionate and dedicated part-time Religious School and Hebrew School teachers for students in grades K-7 to join our vibrant Reform congregation. As a teacher in our school, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of our students and families by providing engaging and dynamic educational experiences, utilizing our values-based curriculum under the supervision of our Religious School Director. Our curriculum emphasizes hands-on experiential learning, intergenerational programming, and collaboration within a team-based environment. Located on our beautiful synagogue campus, our school takes advantage of both our outdoor and indoor spaces to create a unique and immersive educational environment. Religious School takes place on Sunday mornings. Hebrew instruction also takes place on Sunday mornings before Religious School, with an opportunity to teach Hebrew one afternoon/week virtually. Qualifications:  Ability to create a warm and welcoming classroom environment that fosters a sense of belonging and community,  Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team,  Passion for working with children and a commitment to creating engaging and inclusive Jewish learning experiences,  Understanding of Reform Jewish traditions, values and practices and a willingness to teach from the Reform perspective,  Previous educational experience either in a camp, secular school or religious school/Hebrew school setting &  Familiarity with using technology and multimedia resources to enhance learning experiences. Salary Range: $175.00 – $200.00/session, commensurate with experience.
