Rooted in Jewish values, a deep connection to Israel our programs blend activities like swimming, sports, cooking, performing arts, visual arts with dynamic experiential Jewish programming. We cater to children entering Pre-K through 6th grade. As our ideal candidate, you’re a collaborative team player with a passion for making a positive impact. During the off season, you’ll be recruiting the all-star team and developing their training programs. You enjoy meeting people and building relationships. This position builds the summer schedule filled with fun and excitement but enjoys the fine details- so you need to be someone that can work in the weeds and is computer proficient. You are someone that people describe as extremely organized. You must be computer proficient and social media savvy! During the summer you will be the heartbeat of the daily camp operations, working alongside an incredible leadership team. Your role involves providing positive supervision, coordinating events, and ensuring the summer schedule is filled with fun and excitement. An easy-going personality, adaptability to various personalities, a love for the outdoors, and the ability to thrive under pressure are crucial for success. Key Responsibilities: Collaborative teamwork of Camper recruitment, Spearheading staff recruitment and managing the hiring process for seasonal staff, Coordinating special events, Planning and executing comprehensive staff training and development, Participating in occasional weekend/evening camper and staff recruitment events, Establishing partnerships in Westchester, Administration & Strategy / Vision. To be a great fit for this role, you should have: Bachelor’s Degree, Nonprofit Management, Social Work, or Education OR related degree with previous experience in camp leadership, Proven Experience supervising employees & Previous Experience working with children ages 3 – 10. The job is part time until late May when the camp season begins, and it moves to full time though the end of the summer. In the off-season, the position is 20 hours a week in person at our site in Croton on Hudson.  Some nights and weekends are required. Salary: is $30,000-$40,000 commensurate with experience.
