Director of Education
Job Summary: To oversee KI’s religious school and family engagement programs, to instill a knowledge and love of Judaism and Jewish heritage in our students, and to attract families to be active participants in our synagogue community. Team: Functional Supervisor, Rabbi Shoshanah Tornberg with the KI Personnel Committee as the candidates HR Supervisors. The candidate supervises the religious school teachers and B. Mitzvah tutors and is supported by the Religious School Committee, composed of an experienced educator and several religious school parents who help determine educational goals and programs, a conduit for parental involvement, and set operational policies for the religious school. Time Commitment and Location: Part-time / Est. 24 Hours per week.
