Congregation L’Dor Va-Dor (LDVD) is seeking a Rabbi. Requirements: Part-time position at inception with potential Full-Time (with Growth), Philosophy aligns with Rabbi Barry Silver – that is, a modernistic but rational/scientific interpretation of Traditional Judaism, Understanding / Comfort level with Cosmic Judaism: Read Rabbi Barry’s Cosmic Judaism book, Belief in Creative Power – Source of our being, either Cosmic yet Godly or God-like, Able to read Torah and translate / interpret – provide insight, Be accepting with regard to interfaith family and LGBTQ community and welcoming of their life cycle events, Being respectful of others beliefs and all faiths –– not close-minded, Be Mindful and proactive in the Importance of the Growth of the congregation, Be communicable and respectful in working with Members, Board members and clergy, Available for Shabbat and holidays, Open-minded, Charismatic, personable, approachable & Friendly – easy to get-along with.
