Synagogue Youth Director
Congregation Shearith Israel is looking for an individual or couple who can inspire our youth on Shabbat and Holidays with engaging Jewish content, a passion for learning, and love of synagogue. We are America’s first Jewish congregation, with a diverse membership, rich American heritage, and a distinctive Western Sephardic ritual. Familiarity with Sephardic traditions is a plus, but not required. We have a core group of youth and parents and we’re looking to attract new families. If you have teaching/education experience or have run youth programming at synagogues and/or camps, and are looking for a part time, flexible or supplemental job (with limited summer responsibilities), and can be on the UWS for most Shabbatot and holidays, send your resume and relevant information to: [email protected].
