Temple Beth Shalom, Manalapan, NJ is located one hour from NYC and one hour from Philadelphia. We are a modern open-minded Conservative Synagogue of 200+ membership seeking a Part-Time Rabbi who is dynamic, engaging, welcoming and who will guide and connect with members of our community with a forward vision of warmth, compassion and enthusiasm. Our Part-Time Rabbi should be able have excellent communication skills (orally and written), experience in leading Shabbat and all holiday services and able to officiate at all life-cycle events. Must have the ability to chant Torah and Haftorah if our Cantor is not available to do so as well as the ability to work with our professional team of Cantor, Executive Director, Education Director and dedicated lay leadership.
