Temple Israel along with Lido Beach Synagogue and the BACH offer the only Hebrew school in the area that accommodates all Jewish denominations. We are inclusive to all. Our present Rabbi is retiring but will stay on in position of emeritus. Services are Shabbat morning only. The service is traditional conservative. As our synagogue seats over 500, we are able to accommodate a mixed section along with men only and women only sections. Religious School classes take place at Lido Beach Synagogue. The new Assistant Rabbi will play a more inclusive role in the Hebrew School. Duties include: Maintain ties with other Rabbis in the LB area, attend Congregational meetings and social events, create and maintain relationship with local and county media in order to publicize TILB events and milestones, present occasional adult education programs, pastoral duties – outreach to sick, attendance at funerals, shiva, etc. The ideal candidate will Read More >
