Assistant/Associate Rabbi

Peninsula Temple Sholom is an inclusive Jewish community where everyone can find peace, inspiration, and their own connection to Judaism. We are seeking a warm, relational, and energetic rabbi to join our clergy team. We want someone who will bring their unique voice, talents, and creativity to our congregation. We are a 560-member, URJ-affiliated Reform congregation located in the suburban San Francisco Bay Area. We consider our strong collaboration between professional and lay leadership, our multi-generational membership, our beautiful physical space, and our financially secure position to be core strengths. Our congregation’s location allows us to draw upon the innovative spirit of Silicon Valley, as well as the cultural richness of San Francisco. PTS is known for running excellent youth education and preschool programs, and for creating relationship-centered experiences through meaningful worship, lifelong learning, social justice, and caring community programs. Remuneration: For newly ordained candidates: $115,000 – $130,000, commensurate with experience & For experienced candidates: $130,000 – $150,000, commensurate with experience, Plus, generous benefits.
