Cantor

CBIOTP is a welcoming, innovative, and egalitarian congregation located in Fort Lee, NJ, seeking a cantorial intern or part-time cantor on a semi-monthly basis beginning immediately. Shabbat morning services run from 10:00 am-12:00 pm and are co-conducted with Rabbi Eric Wasser, who serves as Baal Koreh. The applicant should have a familiarity with Nusah HaTefilla and the traditional Matbea but has full discretion to enhance the service according to personal/musical preference. The honorarium range for this position is $350-450 per visit. Additionally, the congregation is seeking a Cantor for the High Holy Days and would enjoy extending that invitation to the same qualified individual.
