We are seeking a dynamic and highly organized Hebrew High Director to lead Charlotte’s Hebrew High program (a joint venture of Temple Beth El and Temple Israel). Serving Jewish high school students in grades 8-12, this role offers an exciting opportunity to shape the future of our community’s youth. The Hebrew High Director is the enthusiastic leader of our Hebrew High program, responsible for managing all aspects of the program, enhancing student engagement, driving program growth, and fostering a positive impact on teens’ lives. This role involves creating a compelling program that resonates with both teens and their parents, and building a dedicated team that connects well with students. Areas of Responsibility: Program Management and Growth, Curriculum Development, Teacher Management, Event Planning, Stakeholder Engagement, Logistics Coordination, Financial Management, Community Representation, Hebrew for Credit, Digital Communication and Presence, Office Management & Reporting. Qualifications: Associates degree required; Bachelor’s degree preferred, 3-5 years of experience in Jewish education, program administration, or a related field & 3-5 years of experience working with teens in an educational or communal setting. Skills: Highly-organized, responsive, and energetic, Strong communication skills with the ability to connect with both adults and teens, Knowledge of Jewish beliefs, customs, and traditions, Creative program planning skills, Ability to manage a program budget, Proficient in Microsoft 365, social media platforms, and basic website management, Ability to learn new systems and handle basic audio-visual equipment, Ability to handle sensitive situations with discretion and empathy & Comfortable working under pressure and balancing multiple priorities. Other Requirements: Ability to lift or move items up to 25 lbs, Occasional overnight travel for teen programs, Flexible hours, including work outside traditional office hours & On-site and in-person attendance required at all programs and meetings.  Salary: $27,000.00-$37,000.00 Annual with paid holidays/vacation/sick days.
