Pulpit Rabbi

Congregation Beth Shalom of Brandon is a small Reform congregation of 45 families and/or individual members. We have members in the greater Brandon area as well as Eastern and Southern Hillsborough County. We are affiliated with the Union for Reform Judaism and are seeking a Rabbi dedicated to Jewish values. This is a part-time on-site pulpit Rabbi job. As a Rabbi, you will be responsible for Shabbat services, providing spiritual direction, pastoral counseling, Jewish education, theology, and pastoral care to our community members. Qualifications:  Spiritual Direction and Pastoral Counseling skills, Jewish Education and Theology expertise, Pastoral Care capabilities, Strong interpersonal and communication skills, Ability to work part-time on-site in Brandon, FL, Experience in leading religious services and ceremonies & Relevant education in theology, divinity, or related field. Education: Master’s (Preferred). Experience: Pulpit Rabbi: 2 years (Preferred). Pay: $32,000.00 – $36,000.00 per year. http://www.bethshalom-brandon.org.
