CBOI is an egalitarian community of caring and diverse people, who strive to be connected to our faith, families and larger community. We are a growing, evolving and inclusive congregation enriching and enjoying Jewish life together. We are seeking to fill the position of full-time Rabbi before July 1, 2025.  About us: We do a Triennial reading on Shabbat morning and Torah Study: After Torah reading we have a Torah discussion. On Friday nights our Cantor plays the guitar. After Torah reading we have a Torah discussion. We do have a high holiday choir. Rabbi supervisors the B’nai mitzvah students. Our students are able to read and run a full Friday night and Shabbat morning service. We offer hands on learning through programs. Students prepare a B’nai mitzvah project, and help run services prior to their B’nai mitzvah, and help with high holiday services after. We Would like the Rabbi to represent us and Participate in the Bucks county Rabbinical Assembly, and the Newtown Ministerium. The Rabbi should be available for local hospitals for Jewish patients seeking out prayer. They are to attend the monthly Executive Committee and Board of Trustees meetings. We would like someone with strong spiritual leadership skills. Someone who could help build relationships with existing members and attract new members. A Rabbi with a warm and open-minded personality, who is passionate and excited about conservative Jewish living. We would like a Rabbi with strong leadership and interpersonal skills. Strong speaking skills to keep the attention of the congregation, but with empathy and compassion. Someone who is able to relate to an inter-generational congregation. A Rabbi accepting of an Egalitarian Conservative Jewish practice. Currently under the USCJ Interfaith weddings are not welcomed, but would allow Rabbinical flexibility. A Rabbi who can build a relationship with our current congregants, and helping to attract new families. Getting our congregation energized about attending services and programs. Package or Salary Range: $115,000 – $150,000, depending upon years of experience . We offer a 2100 sq. ft. home on its own property adjacent to the synagogue.
