Congregation Kol Ami is an intimate, welcoming Reform Jewish congregation located in Elkins Park, Pennsylvania. We are a close-knit community that values meaningful relationships and participatory worship, musical expression, and inclusive Jewish life. Our congregation is supported by engaged lay leadership and congregants who care deeply about spiritual connection and community. Congregation Kol Ami seeks a warm, engaging part-time Rabbi / Cantor to guide our congregation in worship, pastoral care, education, and community building. This role is especially well-suited for a clergy member who is musically inclined, comfortable singing (playing guitar is a plus), and who enjoys leading a small, devoted congregation. Primary Responsibilities: Lead two monthly erev Shabbat services (one in-person and one virtual), Lead High Holiday worship (erev RH, first day RH, erev YK, YK all day), Lead occasional holiday and other spiritual events (such as Festivals and Havdalah), Provide/support musical leadership during services (singing and ideally guitar), Officiate and support lifecycle events, Offer pastoral care and spiritual support to congregants, Partner with lay leaders on adult education, holiday programming, and community events & Foster strong relationships within the congregation and broader Jewish community. Qualifications: Ordination from a recognized Jewish seminary (Reform preferred; other movements considered within the guidance of the Union for Reform Judaism), Strong musical skills a plus,  Experience or interest in working with a small, intimate congregation,  Experience or interest in building the congregation,  Excellent interpersonal and communication skills & Commitment to inclusive, progressive Jewish values. Annual salary range: $55,000–$65,000, commensurate with experience. Flexible schedule consistent with part-time expectations. Part-time. Hours: Approximately 20 hours per month.
