Salary Range:
We are seeking a talented and dedicated part time Cantorial Soloist to work alongside our Senior Rabbi in providing inspiring and meaningful musical leadership. The Cantorial Soloist will play a central role in enhancing the spiritual life of our community through music, leading worship services and supporting lifecycle and educational experiences.
Primary Responsibilities: Lead musical portions of designated Shabbat Services approximately 22. Saturdays and select Friday evenings. Sing a blend of traditional and contemporary Jewish liturgical music. Collaborate with Senior Rabbi to enrich the worship experience. Tutor B’nei Mitzvah students – approximately 5 students per week.
Qualifications: Strong trained vocal ability. Experience performing in front of congregations. Familiarity with Jewish liturgical music traditional and contemporary. Experience working with B’nei Mitzvah students preferred.
Position Details: October (flexible start date) to June 30th. Compensation $25,000 – $30,000 (Commensurate with experience).
