High Holiday Cantorial Position

Temple El Emeth is a Conservative Jewish Synagogue for religious, educational, and social activities. Temple El Emeth proudly serves the spiritual needs of our Jewish community through a modern Traditional egalitarian perspective. We are looking for a Cantor, who is well acquainted with Jewish music and has ideas for our 2026 High Holiday services. We are in the planning stages. Some ideas are: First day Rosh Hashanah with a song leader (who would incorporate traditional Rosh Hashanah prayers and Hebrew/Israeli songs instead of a formal Musaf) & possible musical accompaniment, as well, The second day would be more traditional, with a customary Musaf service, Evenings would be a traditional evening service, Kol Nidrei is fairly traditional & Yom Kippur to be determined. The right candidate would be available to coordinate & come a day early to rehearse with the musicians, if needed. Salary negotiable.
