Temple Or Elohim, A Community Reform Congregation, a vibrant and inclusive Reform Jewish Congregation is seeking a Rabbi to serve as our spiritual leader. We are a medium-sized community rooted in Jewish tradition while embracing the diverse ways people find meaning and connection in Jewish life today. We are looking for a Rabbi who desires a long term relationship with our congregation and who will inspire, guide and support our community with warmth, vision and compassion. Qualifications: Ordination from a recognized rabbinical institution, Established pulpit experience and a desire to build long-term relationships within a congregational setting & Strong communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with other clergy, staff, lay leadership and congregants. Key Responsibilities: Weekly Services- Lead Shabbat Services every Friday night and at least one monthly Shabbat morning service, Holidays- Officiate at all major Jewish holiday services and provide education about the holidays for the congregation and religious school, Religious Education- Offer teaching and learning opportunities as part of weekly services and participate in religious school programming. Officiate weekly Torah Study sessions, Pastoral Care- Provide compassionate pastoral care and officiate at all life cycle events, B’nai Mitzvah- Work with our students and teachers in the Religious School. Prepare and guide our students and their parents through the Bar/Bat Mitzvah process, Ritual Leadership- Work with the Ritual Committee to train and oversee volunteers assisting with Jewish services & Governance- Attend all Board of Trustees, Ritual Committee and other relevant committee meetings. Salary commensurate with experience including parsonage. Salary range: $150,000.00-$200,000.00 Annual. Full-time with benefits. Start date: July 1, 2026. http://templeorelohim.com/.
