Perrineville Jewish Center (“PJC”) is proud to be a 112-year-old, non-affiliated synagogue in Millstone Township, New Jersey.  We are just over an hour from both New York City and Philadelphia.  We are an open minded, small, welcoming community made up of people from a broad spectrum of Jewish backgrounds including interfaith families and LBGTQ+ individuals. Our new spiritual leader will have the unique opportunity to continue to shape and grow our diverse and warm community. The next spiritual leader of our congregation can expect to find a warm, diverse, generous and caring congregation, involved and knowledgeable lay leadership and a supportive board of directors.  Areas of Responsibilities: Ritual, Education, Outreach and Pastoral Care & Communication. Qualities in our Ideal Candidate: Warm and compassionate, Enthusiastic and engaging; able to lead services in a way that inspires and captivates, A passion for congregational education and a willingness to learn as well as teach, Creative visionary, with hands-on attitude towards growth, Sense of humor, Open to diversity and inclusion, Regard for this position as a primary professional commitment & Contribute to and expand our presence on social media. Salary: $55,000 – $75,000. Rabbinical parsonage with full kosher kitchen available (Can be converted to additional salary if housing is not needed) Medical benefits as needed.
