Rabbi David Cavill serves as Director of Financial Aid and Operations at AJR. David has expertise in nonprofit management including finance, fundraising, human resources, and IT. He is a graduate of the Jewish Theological Seminary’s undergraduate joint program with Columbia University and studied at Yale Divinity School where he earned the degree of Master of Divinity. Rabbi Cavill was ordained at AJR in 2017. AJR honored him at its Ordination Ceremony and Graduation in 2024 for his work making it possible for AJR students to obtain Federal Student Loans. Rabbi Cavill teaches in the religious school at the Reform Temple of Forest Hills.
