Rabbi/Spiritual Leader
Nevada’s oldest Jewish synagogue in Reno, NV seeks a part time Rabbi/Spiritual Leader. Responsibilities ideally include: Leading three Saturday morning services each month, Leading one Friday evening service each month, Leading High Holiday and other holiday services with others, Coordinate leading services with ordained and lay members, Adult education and other programming to be determined, Available for life cycle events at fees to be determined & Collaborate with Board leadership. Qualifications: Creative and inspiring pulpit, educational, programming, organizational and community development experience and expertise, the ability to inspire a spiritually vibrant, inclusive, and welcoming, community & warm, welcoming and compassionate. Smicha as a Rabbi or Cantor is not required but helpful and preferred. Salary: $45,000. Benefits; negotiable.
