Cantor/Cantorial Soloist
We are a small congregation located on the North Shore of Nassau County, Long Island. We have a long history of employing part time student cantors and cantorial soloists to lead our music on Shabbat and the High Holy Days, as well as some of the other major holidays. We are searching for our next musical leader to be with us through the High Holy Days and about 2-3 Friday evenings per month, including some holidays. There are also opportunities to teach adult ed for the individual with the righ passion and skillset. We are looking for a warm, personable, and enthusiastic soul who can share their gifts with us from the pulpit and beyond. Our cantor/soloist should be able to lead us musically and encourage us to participate. The ability to read/chant Torah is preferred.
