Clergy Member (Cantor or Musical Rabbi)
Temple Israel Center of White Plains is a traditional, egalitarian Congregation. We are participatory, warm, engaged, inclusive and Jewishly knowledgeable. Our services adhere closely to traditional liturgy and we have made innovative efforts to increase spirituality and participation. Our services are conducted primarily in Hebrew. Our members are self-reflective, spiritually striving, intellectually motivated and socially active. Although we are a large and diverse congregation with about 600 households, we are embracing and seek to facilitate the creation and enhancement of smaller circles within our larger community. We are seeking a third clergy member to complement our Senior Rabbi and Assistant Rabbi. This person could be a Cantor or a Rabbi with strong musical capabilities.
