Temple Ner Shalom is a small (50-60 families) Conservative, primarily lay- led congregation located in the beautiful hills of San Luis Obispo. We encourage personal, spiritual, and intellectual growth and take tremendous pride in our reputation as a friendly, warm, and caring multi-generational family synagogue. We are seeking a part time rabbi to be with us one weekend per month (approx. 5-6 hours) and High Holidays. Duties include, but are not limited to the following: Friday night service, Saturday morning service, Adult education (possibly), Involvement in Sunday school from 9:30-10:30, High Holidays to be negotiated separately. Compensation: $2500-3600 per weekend (once each month), bonus pay & reimbursement for travel expenses and meals. Flexible schedule. Website – http://www.templenershalom.org.
