Last year as we were all still very raw after October 7th, and we wondered how we would celebrate Pesach, the “Festival of Freedom” while so many of our people were being held hostage, and while war raged, AJR published this collection of responses to the situation as a supplement to the Haggadah. Representing AJR’s pluralism, the collection represents a variety of approaches and viewpoints.
As we once again approach Pesach, and as we still have too many of our people still held hostage in Gaza, and as the war has not ended, and as we are still very raw, though perhaps somewhat differently, we hope that this supplement will still provide some comfort, some opportunity for thinking, some liturgical support, and some hope for our future.
