The Education Director is responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing all educational programs and initiatives at the Holocaust Museum and Center for Tolerance and Education. This individual will play a critical role in advancing the museum’s mission of educating the public on the history and lessons of the Holocaust while promoting tolerance, diversity, and human rights. The Education Director will engage with educators, students, scholars, and the broader community to create impactful, thought-provoking learning experiences. Areas of Responsibility: Program Development & Implementation, Curriculum & Resource Development, Community Engagement & Partnerships, Professional Development & Training & Program Evaluation & Research. Qualifications: Master’s degree in Education, Holocaust Studies, History, Museum Studies, or a related field, Strong knowledge of Holocaust history, genocide studies, human rights education, and tolerance initiatives, Experience working with diverse audiences, including students, teachers, and community groups, Excellent public speaking, writing, and presentation skills, Demonstrated ability to develop partnerships and collaborative initiatives, Experience managing staff, volunteers, and program budgets & Proficiency in technology, including educational software, digital resources, and social media. Compensation & Benefits: Salary range $68,000 – 73,000 to start, dependent on education and experience. Health insurance, generous paid time off, and professional development support.
