Director of Programs and Community Engagement

The Director of Programs and Community Engagement is responsible for strategically and creatively overseeing all aspects of Chabad of Tribeca/Soho’s programs and community engagement efforts in downtown Manhattan. This key role is pivotal in promoting connection, Jewish learning, and growth in the vibrant neighborhoods of Tribeca and Soho. Areas of Responsibility: Program Development and Management, Event Logistics, Community Outreach and Engagement & Reporting and Evaluation. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, Previous experience in program management, community outreach, or a related field, with track record of creating and implementing programs that cater to the unique needs and interests of community members across different age groups and life stages, A deep understanding of Jewish culture, traditions, and values, Knowledge of the local community in downtown Manhattan and the ability to develop and execute creative and culturally relevant programs that align with the sensibility of the Tribeca and Soho communities, Excellent time management skills, along with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively, Strong computer skills to manage program logistics efficiently & Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for building strong relationships and community engagement.
