Temple Beth El is seeking a High Holiday Cantor for both Rosh Hashanna and Yom Kippur (Hazzan Rishon) to co-lead services with our Rabbi. Students as well as experienced cantors are welcome. Ideal candidates will have a melodic voice, a warm presence, and a passion for meaningful, uplifting services. The compensation we can provide is $7000, and if needed they would be welcome to stay at my or another congregant’s home in walking distance.
