High Holiday Cantor (or Rabbinic candidate with musical background)

Beth El Congregation, a URJ Shul and Jewish community serving the beautiful town of Winchester VA and the surrounding area is seeking a Cantor, cantorial soloist, or cantorial student (or rabbinical student with a strong vocal/musical background) to join our Rabbi for high holy day services this year. Services include Erev Rosh Hashanah, the first day of Rosh Hashanah (including tashlich and a children’s service), as well as Kol Nidre, Yom Kippur Morning, a children’s service, Mincha, Yizkor, and Neilah. We have budgeted up to $2,000 for travel, lodging, and per diem, and remuneration will be between $4,000 and $5,000 based on the candidate’s experience.
