Adina Gerver

Biography:

Adina Gerver (she/her) has worked in the Jewish non-profit sector for over two decades, serving as everything from a foundation program officer to a synagogue administrator to a 1st grade Judaic Studies teacher. Adina’s work focuses on improving processes and systems so that mission-driven organizations run better. She comes to AJR from CBST, where she worked as the Finance Manager, setting up and streamlining systems for reconciling accounts, processing reimbursements, paying hourly workers, correcting expense reports, and overall organizational data hygiene. Adina has an MPA in non-profit management and an MA in Judaic Studies from NYU and a BA in History and Women’s Studies from Harvard University. She spent three years of her adult life studying Talmud and halakhah in non-degree programs. For fun, Adina learns mishnah with children and enjoys spending time in NYC’s green spaces.

Adina is the author of “‘You Shall Be Holy’: A Jewish Ethics Project” as well as numerous Divrei Torah in the American Jewish World Service Divrei Tzedek collection.
